How it all began

Mopars at Merit’s initial party began on May 4, 2002. It originally started out as a ‘thank you’ for the builders and sub-contractors who worked so hard to construct his new home. At that time, he also planned on having a separate get together for his car friends but decided to merge them together for one main event.

The first year of the occasion brought a total of 31 cars - not all Mopar. The party was such a success that he decided to take his love of Mopar automobiles and make it an annual Mopar event that grows every year. For example, 102 classic Mopars of all makes, years, and conditions showed up for the April 2012 party.  Not bad!
